I see red! I see red! I see red!

...... I see rrrrreeeeeddddd hehh heehhh...
So I don't mean to sound annoying but I'm actually writing(or singing) Split Enz's song from the late 70's I See Red.

Some of us may have noticed that there are some interesting quirky people who make the world so much more of a colorful place to live in, and who just love (not just like) but LOVEEEE a certain specific color? Yes well, I'm referring to the purple fanatics. Seriously, a purple hat may not be enough, but it has to match with a set of purple socks; then purple hair clips, purple streaks in their hair, why not some purple earrings, how about my favorite purple beads, and it'll go well with some purple nail polish, oh yeah don't forget to buy those purple boots, purple butterflies... purple etc etc if they could too.

You see I am a red gal(seasonal actually), our kind are just as strange. Though our kind we tend to match it with black, maybe tone it down a little with some greys, some texture here there and that's that. But the weird thing about us is that we tend to be a little on the serious side; a little feisty, some say intense, others say sensitive, my boyfriend say loopy, crazy, moody....

Anyhow, on the serious side;) herewith some pics of red inspired pieces or pics from my shop. Go forth and check them out NOW even if you're a purple fan!

3 shades...

My recent fascination in combining silver, darken silver and brass ensemble in jewelry form and here are the results. Brass is not a particularly easy metal to work with compare to silver and yet alone they don't look too great(due to it's value also I think), BUT when combined with other shades yummm is more of what I'd like to say.
To love brass is to love both the color as well as the inevitable aged/tarnished state (as it tends to do so fairly quickly). I liken it to loving people really! Once upon a time we all look youthful, shiny and smooth but with time we age; results in wrinkles, grey hair, saggy this saggy that, brown teeth, bent back etc ... that itself is beautiful. Well, maybe not the brown teeth.
Until next time :)

Not again....

Yes again... I've started crocheting again even after I swore to myself not to, aren't they cute though;) I'm pleased with the outcome even after almost a year of neglect, though my fingers are feeling it right now oh yeahhh. The necklace is accompanied by 2 little handmade glass beads by my fabulous bead makers from Etsy. I love the pink one especially by Pinocean:)
These tasty little morsels so adorable to look at let alone wear available at my other store at www.wontonlove.etsy.com.
